Ability
to Add Domains:
You can add additional
domains at any time through your control
panel. Just click on 'add domain'.

You can have more
than one domain name resolving at the
same IP number and content holding site.
For example, you can park yourdomain.net
to yourdomain.com.
This
is how it works:
- You log into your
control panel and click on "Add
Domain" -- you will receive your
customers' account information via the resellers
control panel.
- Your customer
gets most of the benefits of our packages,
their own IP address, control panel,
etc.
- You provide
your own customer service
- You have
control over the domains you sell ie.
you can access their control panels
to help them with problems, you bill
them, etc.
- We charge
you for the domains you buy, you charge
them your prices.

Sample Scenario:
You run a
web site design service and would like
a place to host your customers domains
so you can maintain their accounts and
promote them. Here is what you
do.
- You buy
the Reseller hosting plan from us and
that enables you to resell the accounts.
- Your customer
requires 200 MB of space so you go into your
Control Panel, choose "Add Domain"
and choose the Gold hosting plan.
- You will
be charged $11.67 on your account for
this domain, but you can
charge your customer what you want.
Please read
the following and make sure that you understand
this:
These are
your customers. You provide them with
customer service and technical support,
not us. We disable the email
customer service and phone customer service
buttons in the Control Panel that they
will have. If you can't answer the
question, then you come to us.
You provide
billing to your customers. We
do not bill your customers. We bill you
for the domain and space, then you turn
around and bill them for your cost from
us and your services in addition
to that.
You need
to dig in and learn what we offer and
familiarize yourself with the Control
Panel and what it does so you can answer
their questions.
The reseller accounts
have limited transfer so please do not offer unlimited
transfer with your accounts. We will let
you know if we need your help in paying for extra
transfer. Please refer to our restrictions.

- How
can I become a Reseller?
- Becoming
a reseller is simple. All you have to
do is choose the reseller option. Just
go to our
order forms to do this.
Or, if you are already a Deru Communications
customer just go to your Control Panel
and click on Upgrade CP to upgrade to
the reseller plan. There are no extra
fees associated with upgrading.
- What
does my discount cover?
- Your discount
covers all hosting accounts. This discount
is applied to the monthly hosting prices only
(i.e. not in addition to the annual discount
). The discount does not apply to domain name
registration charges, SSL Certificates, or setup
fees, if any.
- Are there
any minimum requirements to keep my Deru Communications
reseller status?
- The only requirement
to remain a reseller is to have the Reseller
plan with us and comply with all reseller policies
and procedures.

- What if I do
not want to handle the technical support phone
calls for the hosting accounts that I resell?
- The reseller discount
is for resellers that plan on taking their own
technical support phone calls.

- Who handles
the billing for my hosting accounts?
- You provide billing
to your customers. We bill you for the domain
and space, then you turn around and bill your
customers whatever price you choose.

- What if my
customer's want SSL secure server access?
- If your customers
need an SSL secure server for their transactions,
they will have to purchase a SSL server certificate
- or use one you have set up for your domain.
